How Radical Is God's Grace?

This debate has gone on for centuries, and will definitely continue. But today, I'd like to offer one major thought - on "aha!" moment for me.

But first, the debated question: How far does God's grace and forgiveness extend? How dependent is the application of His grace on our response to it?

Consider that for a moment...

Now consider this - as Christ was breathing his final breaths, He prayed, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

Question (my "aha!" moment) - Is it even possible that God would not answer the prayer of His own Son? Would God not answer His own prayer?

"They know not what they do"

And neither do we!

If God's Grace is water, the Church should be an ocean!

Let us love and forgive on God's behalf because those around us just don't know what they do.
